Daniel's Eye Surgery!

Daniel's surgery on Monday couldn't have gone better! The orthopedic surgeon, Dr Piehl, took approximately 7cm of tendon off of the top of his right foot while the opthamologist created a muscle for his right lid. The nurses were great! Before the doctor's got there, Daniel enjoyed riding up and down the halls on all of the cars/wagons. After surgery, we were in and out of recovery in no time! The nurse sent him home with a dose of Tylenol w/ codeine so we figured he would be OUT for a few hours at least! NOT SO MUCH! He stayed up all day long but then crashed Monday night and slept through the night! His recovery so far has been fantastic! We haven't even bothered with anymore Tylenol. He has learned to walk around on his cast like a pro! I will try and get some pictures uploaded soon! Everyone has been really great about praying for us and calling or coming by to check on Daniel! We are so grateful to have such loving friends and family!
